Important information!

  • Meeting point: Your tour meets between the pier and the public bus stop. Your guide will wear a light-blue jacket. Look for a sign and/or flag that says "EXCURSIONS.NO". 
The Geiranger Highlights tour will lead you to discover two of the most famous viewpoints of Geiranger: Flydalsjuvet and the Eagle Bend. Flydalsjuvet is a magnificent gorge, with an amazing view over the Geirangerfjord and the UNESCO World Heritage area. Descending the Geiranger road and passing through the village once more, 11 hairpin bends will take you to the Eagle Bend, the last turn of the Eagle Road, where you will have a magnificent view of the Seven Sisters Waterfall.

1- Departure: Centre of Geiranger

A beautiful small village in Sunnmøre region of Møre og Romsdal county in the western part of Norway. The Geirangerfjord is one of Norway’s most spectacular fjords. Since 2005 the Geirangerfjord area has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

2- Eagle Bend

The last turn of the Eagle Road, at the altitude of 515 meters above sea level, with a spectacular view over the Geirangerfjord, the village and the Seven Sisters Waterfall. The name of the road and the bend comes from the fact that in the past the eagles used to fly around here.

3- Flydal Gorge

Majestic Gorge with an amazing view over the Geirangerfjord. It is located at the altitude of approx. 330 meters above sea level and the canyon is 70 meters deep. This is one of the most photographed highlights of Norway.
