Our tour takes you to the best sights you can experience during your stay: the Godøya Viewpoint, the Alnes Lighthouse and the Aksla Viewpoint.
You will be able to see an lovely panoramic view of Alesund and its surrounding archipelago from the Island of the Gods (Godøya). Then through the underwater tunnel you will get to the Alnes – a charming fishing community, from where you can admire a unique view of the Atlantic Ocean. An interesting point of our trip will be a visit to the local lighthouse. The next and the last point of the trip will be a stop at the view point Aksla – the best place to enjoy a magnificent panorama view over the city and the archipelago. For those who wish to walk down to the city center by the 418 stairs and take unforgettable photos, the tour will end here. The rest of the passengers will be taken to the starting point of our trip.
Our audio guide system offers several languages for you to fully enjoy the excursion. Tour duration is approximately 3 hours.

- Our excursions are adapted to arrival and departure times of cruise ships. Modified departure times will be announced in advance.
- Back to ship guarantee for cruise line passengers provided that information regarding name of cruise ship is registered when you book (official tour time must end 1 hour before ship’s departure).

- Meeting point: Our bus will be located in the parking lot between the Ålesund Rutebilstasjon (Ålesund Bus Station) and the pier. Look for the bus or minibus with the company name "EXCURSIONS.NO".

1- Departure: Ålesund Pier
The Art nouveau town of Ålesund is a perfect starting point for excursions in the beautiful surroundings. It is the largest city in the province of Møre og Romsdal and it has a unique setting across several islands streching out into the Atlantic Ocean. Destroyed in 1904 by a devastating fire it is now noted for its concentration of Art Nouveau style.
2- Godøya Viewpoint
Godøya belongs to the Giske Commune, pertaining to the famous Giske Saga from the viking era. Enjoy a stop and panoramic view of Ålesund and its surrounding archipelago at the Island of the Gods (Godøya).
3- Alnes Lighthouse
Alnes Lighthouse is one of the best highlights the Ålesund area can offer. The view is majestic, and the beaches and waves have turned the destination into a surfer’s paradise. Entrance fee to the lighthouse is included in the tour ticket.
4- Aksla Viewpoint
From the top of the city mountain Aksla there is a panoramic view of the beautiful city center, the archipelago and the Sunmøre Alps. From Aksla you can walk 418 steps down to the city park.
5- Arrival: Ålesund Pier
* The order of sights might vary. If the winter road to Aksla is not safe, an alternative point of interest will be chosen instead.
