This tour doesn’t climb higher than 1.038 meters above sea level to the charming and beatiful Djupvatn Lake. However, on days when visibility is good, you will be able to see the Dalsnibba Skywalk from the bus. 1- Departure: Centre of Geiranger
A beautiful small village in Sunnmøre region of Møre og Romsdal county in the western part of Norway. The Geirangerfjord is one of Norway’s most spectacular fjords. Since 2005 the Geirangerfjord area has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
2- Djupvatn Lake
Spectacular mountain lake. It lies at the altitude of 1030 meters above sea level and is at least 90 meters deep. The lake is normally covered with ice, depending on the temperature and on the season, the ice usually melts around mid of June/July.
3- Flydal Gorge
Majestic views overlooking the Geirangerfjord. One of Norway’s most photographed touristic icons. When visiting Geiranger, this is the definitive must-see!
4- Eagle Road
The 11 hairpin bend serpentine road ascends all the way up to the Eagle Bend offering great views of the fjord and photo opportunities of the Seven Sisters Watterfalls.
5- Eidsdal Lake
Driving through the scenic Indreide Valley on the way to the lake. The photo stop at idyllic Eidsdal Lake offers sights of the lake surrounded by high and majestic mountains.
